Martina

I have been looking around for something to write about when someone suggested Martina. I don't think I have ever written about Martina. When Martina was little she had a high fever, and after that she started having seizures. One of them threw her into a fire, and she got extremely burnt, mostly in the face and some on her arms. After that we started helping with her surgeries by bringing her to a hospital and helping pay for them in the city. Her parents kept saying that they didn't want her anymore. So finally Mom, Dad and Tomas went over to her house and found her abandoned in a room tied to a bed. They talked to her parents and asking if they should take her in, and all three of them got the same verse.
“I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did unto me."Matthew 25:40
So we took her in. She was doing great, laughing and she started walking again. Then all of the sudden she got sick and we thought she was going to die. She gradually got better but ever since she has gotten worse. She has stopped laughing and walking, and she can't sit up without support now. She needs much more attention than we can give her and lot's of TLC, but there is no place else to send her in this country. She can't talk and we think she is sad, but we don't know what she thinks. Please keep her in your prayers.
