The Family Song

It is a poem when read but it's 10 times better when sung.

The Family Song

Hi my name is Jacob, I like to drool,

This is my new family, I think they’re pretty cool.

This is my Aunt Grace, she is only 3 years old,

Then there’s Abi, she’ll eat anything… even mold.

I have an Aunt Hannah, did you know her name is a palendrum?

And next to her is Jo-jo and boy, he can’t run.

This is Tiger, but the kind that doesn’t bite,

and did I tell you about Aunt Rachel - man can she write!

Then there is Katie, she kinda’ just appeared

And then she married Aaron, who has a full grown beard.

Holding me is Dad, he’s pretty nice

And next to him is Mom, when it’s hot she gives me ice.

Last but not least is Duane and Leslie, Grandma and Grandpa to me,

We all think they’re pretty great, they’re at the top of our family tree.
