Marble/Unilla

Hi! Well Thursday (21st) some marble guys came from the city. They came at around 8 pm and the next morning they started work! All us girls kinda moved out to the clinic for the next 2 days. We had been planning on getting formica but the marble was cheaper, prettier and from Guatemala. So the kitchen looks way better now. We thought the sound of power tools would never end but it eventually did and it was well worth it.

Last Thursday all the medical people went to Unilla for clinic. They got there and there was no people so they started to pack up and little by little people started coming. So it started a little unorganized and the people kind of crowded in. The people cut down all of the trees around the building so it added to the unbearable heat. They said it was hotter than it ever has been and the heat just sucked the energy right out of them.I am glad I didn't have to experience that one.

Heather Sutton came the 16th! She is a lot of fun and a big help. She will be staying for a month and a half. Malachi Courtney came the 24th and he will be staying 3 weeks. He is also a big help and has a heart for the people.

Rodi (the pastor of the church we go to in San Andres) is having a big activity in the park. He brought in a marimba team that will sing and play some worship songs. He also brought in a special speaker. It will go on all day today, they did it last night to and Heather got a picture. Mom and Dad are there this morning they really felt they should be there.
