LIFE 2010

Well I just got back from the trip about a week ago! I went to Pennsylvania to spend 2 weeks with Adrienne and go to a youth conference with her church. It was amazing. I got there on the 1st and spent the first couple of days with Adrienne. We got ready and packed and got all we needed for the trip. Then on Monday morning everyone in the youth group (about 60 of us) got together and after praying over the trip, we all loaded up into the coach bus and started off for Kentucky. We stopped a couple of times along the way and went through Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio then Kentucky. We spent the night in a church and then the next day we drove to the Creation museum (creationmuseum.com). The museum was really cool. Then at 1 we all headed to Louisville, to our hotel, out to eat and then to the Kentucky Exposition Center where LIFE was held. So there were seminars and sessions. The sessions everyone had to go to, and there were a lot of different seminars you could choose from. So the basic schedule was breakfast, session, seminar, lunch, seminar, supper, session. And you had some time in between each of those and that's when you could go to the activities hall. It was 4 full days. It was really really good. There were 6500-7500 teenagers depending on the day. The conference was for Alliance churches and missionaries. The worship was amazing and there were some really good sessions and seminars. It was a really good experience for me. I got to meet some new friends but it was so cool to be in one room with 6500 other kids my age, at one time, singing the same song, worshiping the same God!! So after the conference was over we drove through the night and got back to PA in the morning. I spent the rest of the week hanging out and doing fun stuff with Adrienne then we packed up and came home on the 16th. For some reason I can't get the pictures to upload...

Sounds awesome, Rach! I know it is just amazing to be with that many people all worshiping God...I'm sure it's good to be home too though :).
